We all know that summer means beach, food trip, playing outdoors, being sweaty and having stains on your favorite clothes. Yes, with the hot season around, sometimes, it could not be avoided that our clothes would have stains from what we have eaten or with what we have done throughout the day.

Here are some laundry tips on how you can get through with all the stains from your summer trip.

Sweat stains

You can remove sweat stains by rubbing the affected area with bar soap before washing. You can also use a mixture of vinegar and hot water to get rid of the stains.

Iced Tea stains

Use cold water mixed with detergent on the opposite side of the affected area, leave it for 30 minutes or overnight for best results.

Ice Cream stains

Soak your clothes in cold water for 10 minutes, add a dish detergent and let it sit for at least 30 minutes. Rinse afterwards.

Mud stains

You can try to brush off the excess stains first then soak the clothes on a mixture of warm water, vinegar and a dish detergent.

It is also recommended to dry your clothes in the sun. As it is very sunny outside, why not make use of it, right? The heat of the sun could help kill bacteria, dust mites and helps get rid of stains. Doing so would also make you save money on your electric bills.
