Brushes are very important when it comes to doing makeup. They may be expensive at times which is why it is very important to take of them properly.
Cleaning makeup brushes is needed so that it stays in shape and be able to prolong its life span. Also, by cleaning brushes, you can avoid germs and bacteria from spreading which may often cause breakouts!
Here are some ways on how you can clean your makeup brushes.
Soap
Wet your brush with lukewarm water. Use an unscented white soap and swirl the brush in it. Rinse the brush with lukewarm water and gently squeeze out the excess water. Lay it in a towel and dry for at least 8 hours.
Liquid dish soap
Wet your brush. Pour liquid dish soap on a sponge and rub your brush in it. Rinse with lukewarm water and lay on a towel to dry.
OIive Oil
Get a towel and pour a small amount of olive oil. Be careful not to use too much as your brush would get soaked with oil. Swirl the dry brush into the oil and you’ll be seeing makeup falling off from the brush. Rinse the brush and lay on a towel to dry.
Alcohol
For the handle of your brush, simply pour a rubbing alcohol and rub in the handle. This can disinfect and clean the handle of your brush.
