Manage oily skin


Oily skin is one of the most common skin problems we face. Often, we worry that our face would look shiny and that our makeup might melt off. Sometimes, we had to always bring oil blotting sheets just to get rid of the oil in our face.

Moreover, having an oily face at the summer season us such a struggle. Your skin would be hot and sweaty.

Here are some tips on how you can manage oily skin:


In order to manage oily skin, one should moisturize and keep skin hydrated. When the skin is dehydrated, it can produce more oil. Try to use a moisturizer at least twice a day to keep your skin dehydrated.


Don’t wash it with hot water

Hot water can definitely dehydrate your skin, which is why it feels dry whenever we step out from the hot shower. To avoid dehydrating your skin, use warm water instead.

Use an oil-free SPF

Not all Sunscreens are the same, and some of them could not be good for oily skin. This is why it is important to choose sunscreens properly as they could make your skin greasy or oilier. Go for sunscreens which are oil-free.

Our hands also contain oil, which is why it can also increase oil production and even cause breakouts.
