Lemon Juice

This juice contains citric acid which is also a natural bleaching agent, which is why it helps lighten our skin.

Simply cut a lemon in half and rub the lemon juice on your elbows. Rinse your elbow after 3 hours with warm water.

Yogurt and Vinegar

The mixture of yogurt and vinegar contains lactic and acetic acid which also helps lighten the color of skin. Apply the mixture on elbows in a circulation motion and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse off afterwards and moisturize.

Scrubbing could help remove dry and flaky skin cells which are trapped in the elbow creases which causes the skin to have a dark appearance. You can use a loofah or a washcloth with an exfoliating shower gel when taking a shower.

As mentioned earlier, sun exposure causes damage to our skin, which is why it is important to apply sunscreen when going outdoors.
