How to prevent Sunburns

While summer means having fun under the sun and doing all sorts of things, getting Sunburns should not be on your list of activities.

Here are some ways on how you can prevent getting sunburns.

 

Avoid staying in the sun at peak hours

If possible, stay out of the sun during 10:00 am up to 4:00 pm. The UV rays from the sun are strongest at these hours.

You should also avoid staying out in the sun for too long to be able to get tan. This could really burn your skin. If you want to get a tan, do it gradually and with limited exposure.

 

Use sunscreens

This protects you from the damaging heat of the sun. Sunscreens should be applied as often as needed and even on cloudy days.

It is important to apply it on the exposed areas in your body and carefully follow the necessary instructions on your sunscreen.

Cover up

Bring floppy hats, sunglasses, umbrellas on your trip. When you want to wear long-sleeved clothes, o for linen or cotton clothes as these fabrics are great for summer.

 

To be able to prevent sunburns, it is important to do the necessary steps to be able to protect your skin from the sun’s damaging heat. Follow those steps above which could enable you to have a great and sunburn-free summer.
