Our hair may often become oily at times. This is because we have natural oil on your hair, which is known as ‘sebum’.

There are actually ways on how you can prevent having oily hair so that you wouldn’t have to hide your hair by wearing hats or pulling it back into a ponytail.

Shampooing your hair regularly could actually contribute to the excessive oil production on your hair. Shampoo removes the natural oil on your hair, and your scalp reacts by producing more oil.

Condition at the ends

Similar to shampoos, conditioners also increase oil production. This is why it is recommended to use conditioner at the ends of your hair only.

Rinse your hair properly

rinseWhether you are using shampoo, conditioner or any other kinds of hair products, make sure that you rinse your hair properly. Rinse your hair for at least 30 seconds or more.

Avoid touching your hair too often

Keep heat away from your hair
